What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am an online fitness coach. My customers are individuals who want to get fitter but don’t feel the need to pay the money for an in-person personal trainer. Often my services reach out to those who have already been in the gym for some time but need the extra step. I’m like their personalised Google!
Tell us about yourself
I knew I was born to be a coach. Throughout my life, I have always helped, assisted, and provided advice to my peers. However, I am not someone who is very talented. But I found a talent. I found that talent in bodybuilding when I started in December 2016, saw how good I became at it, researched a significant amount on general fitness, and then decided to become a coach. Waking up knowing I’m contributing to making the world a better place by helping improve the lives of others motivates me every morning.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Launching the website of OmegaMuscles. An accomplishment I thought I’d never get as I didn’t have the confidence to make a website. Thankfully that changed, and with the right people assisting me, I managed to create it.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Generating sales. It’s always difficult. People have heard about my site, but I feel it could do with improvements to make it appear more trustworthy.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Research. Plan. Execute. You can’t know what to create without research. You won’t know how to create without a plan, and you will never get past the launch if you do not execute!
