Women Finding Clarity - Pascale Cook-Fernandes

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Pascale Cook-Fernandes Owner of Women Finding Clarity, located in Pocasset, MA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is Women Finding Clarity. I support married women who feel disconnected from themselves and their spouses to rediscover who they are, so they can rebuild a strong foundation for connection.

Tell us about yourself

I've been exploring healing modalities since 2010- I went back to school and got my massage therapy certification, and from there, I received my Reiki 1, Reiki 2, and Reiki Master attunements. In 2021 I received my life coaching certification and opened my practice. I've chosen to focus on married women b/c I resonate with the challenges that come with being in a long-term relationship, as my husband and I have been married for 21 years and counting.

There have been good times and bad times- but the good outweighs the bad, and so we continue on. Together we have received couples counseling and couples coaching, so I know the work it takes to keep moving forward together.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I'm not sure if it's my biggest accomplishment, but I love being the host of The Happiness Workshop podcast! It started with myself and a friend as an experiment on living in the energetic flow of the universe. She ended up stepping away for personal reasons and gave me her blessing to continue on, and so I did.

It's been an amazing transformation- I now include guest interviews, and the content/conversations are fantastic! It's all about creating more happiness, true happiness in the individual and in the world!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things for me is balancing my time. I have to hold firm boundaries on my calendar because it would be too easy for me to give away my family and personal time. My children are my babies, but my business is my baby. The boundaries in my calendar allow me to show up as my best self for myself, my family, and my clients.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do what lights you up, and it doesn't feel like work!
  2. Hire a business coach that resonates with your personal values- it will save you so much time, money, and stress. Take a chance, stretch yourself, and be willing to grow and learn.
  3. Lead with your heart, and the money will follow. If you're working for the money, you'll always be chasing the money. If you lead with your heart, you will naturally attract those clients/customers who resonate with your spirit, and you will have a beautiful business.
