I help modern pioneers weather the storms of life through Biblical principles of sustainable self-sufficiency.

Tell us about yourself

I'm a 5th-generation Oklahoma panhandle homesteader. We've homeschooled the 6th generation and are now seeing the 7th grow up on the prairie with good old-fashioned faith and common sense pioneer principles.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Seeing our children inspired to start businesses of their own.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Overcoming discouragement in the tough times to keep getting up and doing what needs to be done every day.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You were brought into the Kingdom "for such a time as this"! God has blessed you with unique knowledge, skills, and talents to equip you to share the message He has placed in your heart.
  2. Get over yourself. It's not about you. It's about those you can help. God owns the business; you're the manager.
  3. Criticism always has a bright side. There's either an improvement you can make or a hidden complement in the assessment. Don't take it personally with emotion.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I came out of generations of abuse and neglect. My business success is a reflection of the freedom and victory over what I've survived into the blessings God had ready for me.
