Tell us about yourself

Initially, I was in the printing industry field, and pre-covid, I was facing a battle with my mental health. However, I was gifted a small set of essential oils and fell in love with them. At that moment, I started to look around for quality essential oils in GCC. However, I could not find a brand or company that had a good offering. At that moment, I called my partner Nour Khodr and decided to start our own essential oils brand in 2019.

Within those two years, we moved our business from Beirut to UAE. Met amazing and equally passionate partners to support us, and since then, we have grown to become one of the leading wellness brands in GCC.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is to be able to look back and see a business that is providing for so many people involved as well as seeing our clients and end users enjoy premium wellness at accessibility never seen before.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is the mental battle that you need to face while building your business. Am I good enough to make it? Is my business going to make it? The possibility of failing and the doubts are always your biggest challenge.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do good research and try to have as much data as you can before starting.
  2. Check the scaling potential of your business. Remember, your ambitions grow  with your business.
  3. When there is a will, there is a way. You will face struggles you never thought possible. But one thing to keep in mind is that there is always a solution, and you should never doubt yourself or your business. Always have faith, and this is the biggest battle, in my opinion.
