What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a personal development company offering assessments, training, and coaching. Our customers are individuals and businesses who want to make life and work easy, simple and successful through learning and development.

Tell us about yourself

I started the business as a thought in my mind in 2000 after I traveled and worked abroad. I went through a very difficult personal journey that clarified the business concept for me, and I launched it part-time in 2002 and full-time in 2005. It has been the most amazing journey, professionally and personally, and I wouldn't exchange it for anything in the world. The fact that I am changing people's lives keeps me motivated and going.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

There are a few:

  1. We survived the COVID-19 pandemic and actually used it as a launchpad to pivot into new revenue streams.
  2. I've written a book and did a Ph.D. which adds credibility to the business.
  3. I am still 100% passionate about the work that I do 23 years later.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

  1. It is a lonely journey, and you just don't have all the answers and know-how - it will test you on many levels all the time.
  2. Finding the right people to help and support you (employees and service providers).

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. There are no mistakes in life, only lessons to learn - but you need to learn from them.
  2. Just do it and follow your gut.
  3. Dream big and live your passion.
