What's your business, and who are your customers?
Serenety by Rene offers Handcrafted Sea Moss Gel in 6 delicious flavors. My goal is to help people live a healthy life every day. Our customers range from people who already follow a healthy lifestyle all around people who are starting a health journey or those who have just started and are looking for that next level of energy.
Tell us about yourself
I am a go-getter who has been striving to advocate for healthy living. It started five years ago when I became a vegetarian; my body needs more vitamins and minerals. That is when I discovered Sea Moss and all of its amazing benefits. It became my passion, and in May of 2021, I started my business. Bringing Sea Moss to a whole other level by infusing it with organic fruits and herbs.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment so far as a Women Business Owner, I would say, is staying consistent. Consistent in my energy, thoughts, creativity, and most of all, my strength. It is not easy to own a business, let alone make it survive in the society we live in that is so co-dependent on prescription medication!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing I must say that comes with being a business owner is the competition! Anyone can start a business and do what others are doing. It's the passion, the drive, the purpose, and most of all, the customers that keep me going!!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do not forget about your mental health and well-being (without YOU, there is no business).
- Stay consistent with your marketing and customer service!
- Stop caring what other people think!! It's your business, and you are the face of it!!

No matter what comes at you in life, keep reaching for your dreams. Anyone can start a business, but it takes courage, strength, hard work, and constructive criticism to accomplish your goal!!
