What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a narrative design lab that creates strategic brand narratives for companies and executives. Our company focus ranges from B-round start-ups to public companies. Our executive focus is on C-suite executives.

Tell us about yourself

My career spans 30+ years in media, technology, marketing, and innovation. I was hired to solve the demise of "earned media" in 2014, and that led me to build the craft of designing strategic narratives for emerging companies. This work has allowed me to stay on the bleeding edge of change across the globe and its impact on humans at work. I wake up every morning with the desire to help people to realize their highest potential. That can be in the form of a company, an individual, or both (teams and leaders).

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

While I have a proud list of accomplishments over the years, I believe my biggest accomplishment is yet to come.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Wearing many hats and keeping your head up to see what is in front of you.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Know your strengths and weaknesses.
  2. Hire/outsource to your weaknesses, so you can focus on your superpower.
  3. Resilience, because nothing is a straight line, and you will need to pivot, shift and make bold leaps to advance your vision.
