What's your business, and who are your customers?
StarLight Alchemy LLC is an astrologically influenced organic handcrafted product company. Formed in September 2021, from our love of astrology and candles, we created beautiful handmade decorative candles based on the 12 zodiac signs. Our customers are those who love candle decor as well as astrology.
Tell us about yourself
We’ve always been fascinated with the universe and celestial bodies. Over the past six years, we dove deeper into astro teachings through the ways of various literature. Through these teachings, we expanded our knowledge of the zodiac and how each of the 12 signs is a manifestation of human consciousness. As our understanding grew, so did our spirituality and spiritual practices. Candle Majik has always been a practice in our household. We started researching topics on how to make candles and since combined our love for both astrology and candles into beautifully crafted creations.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Our biggest accomplishment as business owners is being able to witness and share what we love to do come to life.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the most challenging things we experienced as new business owners is marketing and promotion. We are still learning the ropes of “the advertisement world,” especially in the realms of social media.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Our tips are never to lose sight of your vision. Be patient and trust the process. All things work in cycles.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
There will be other businesses in the same arena as yours. Never feel intimidated, as each business is unique.
