What's your business, and who are your customers?
Svarasya is a traditional Indian skincare brand with a focus on reviving ancient skincare traditions. Our skincare products are traditional in nature and driven by the Ayurveda skincare approach. We highly value our ancient tradition and the natural ingredients that Ayurveda recommends. Thus, we came up with skincare product formulations that are ancient in nature but still highly effective due to the inclusion of active high-performance ingredients. Our skincare formulations are revived from the oldest skincare formulations from ancient cultures.
Our products have an ancient skincare appeal that is in line with Ayurveda skincare tradition while also yielding effective results on the skin due to the inclusion of active ingredients, including vitamins, antioxidants & plant oils that provide quick results on the skin, reduce signs of aging and appearance of wrinkles, firm & even tone skin, reverse the effects of environmental damage on the skin, deeply nourishing and conditioning to skin, offer skin barrier protection and repair and promote skin plumping.
Tell us about yourself
We really wanted to create skincare products that deliver results while not getting into the complexity of scientific compounds that are being researched every other day. We trust and value science for its discoveries, but we realize that human life is simple, and we must honor the simplicity of self-care. And thus, we created simple products revived from ancient traditions, highly effective, and result-oriented. The motivation to reach out to as many people as we can with our simple skincare message is what keeps us going day in and day out!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The sense of joy and bliss of being able to create something that I believe in and live by! A sense of jumping out of bed every day to work harder on something that keeps me excited and going for a lifetime.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
There are times you realize you are walking a loner's path. It's a world out there in your mind that you wish to create in the external world, and for that, you are often fighting your own struggles that people may not realize.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Hire the right team, even if it means paying extra bucks! You succeed because of your team that implements the ideas!
- Have a strong social media strategy.
- Show up wherever possible. What shows is what sells!
