What's your business, and who are your customers?

The Agile Brand. I am an advisor, consultant, author, and speaker, working with marketing leaders and aspiring leaders on transformation and change initiatives.

Tell us about yourself

I'm a designer by background, and I started and sold two companies (one marketing agency and one SaaS startup), acquired two companies (one at each of the former), and started my first business after freelancing successfully and building up a good customer base.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Selling two companies is my biggest achievement.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Prioritizing your time and efforts.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Make sure you take time for yourself, even when times are tough.
  2. Embrace agile, iterative ways of testing and learning.
  3. Embrace failure as the greatest teacher.
