Unleash Their Greatness - The Attractive Man

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Matt Artisan, President and CEO of The Attractive Man LLC., located in Las Vegas, NV, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

We transform the lives of thousands of men by helping them unleash their true, attractive, confident selves so they can attract their dream woman.

Tell us about yourself

I started The Attractive Man in 2008 after a devastating breakup. I soon discovered the pickup artist community but realized what the PUA gurus taught was very manipulative and fake, so I wanted to figure out a more natural, authentic way of attracting women. Over the past 14 years, I fell in love with teaching men how to let go of their guilt, shame, insecurities, emotional baggage, and limiting beliefs that are holding them back. We bring models to our live workshops to help them practice being confident, and we see amazing results when they start approaching women in real life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Our trainers and I have been interviewed by or featured on ABC News Nightline, Netflix, Fox News, Newsweek, Vice, NY Post, Daily Mail, and more. Our YouTube channel has over 890,000 subscribers. But our proudest accomplishment is our thousands of success stories and testimonies.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing is balancing running the business, creating content, and coaching clients. I have to wear many hats as an owner. I'm thankful that I have an amazing team of coaches, content creators, and team members supporting the vision.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Jump in and start. I have friends that want to start a business, but they overthink it, and then they never take the first step. You are going to have failures, so you might as well get started so you can start learning. The longer you wait to start, the longer you will likely wait for success.
  2. Start small and test the waters. See if people respond to your offer. Get feedback, and then tweak your process. I started by putting an ad on Craigslist and then coaching someone for $10 an hour in 2008. This gave me feedback and inspiration to go further and be better.
  3. Become profitable as soon as possible. It seems obvious, but so many companies fail because they don't turn a profit, and they go into debt. Your main focus, besides having an amazing product/service, is to be profitable so you can reinvest and grow the business. Make sure to take a profit yourself as well.
