What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a book creation coach, ghostwriter, editor, and content creator. Business owners who don't have time or focus for their writing needs hire me to fill the gap and get it done.
Tell us about yourself
I have always loved language. I studied writing intensively in school and then went on to build a ranch and raise a family. I went back to writing and got my start as an editor, working on my ex-husband's first book and my son's thesis on bioengineering. Every day I am motivated by the love of creative expression and the desire to learn.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have worked with three Amazon best-selling authors who are using the book as the foundation for the next level of speaking success and business coaching.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Isolation during the work day is needed for concentration, and I make a point of networking and socializing to counter this.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Know what you are good at and do that as your main focus.
- Surround yourself with people who support your goals.
- Make sure you have put your own well-being as the center of your focus, not your material goals.
