What's your business, and who are your customers?
We roast specialty-grade, high-elevation coffee. Our mission is to remind people all around the world that they matter through great coffee.
Tell us about yourself
We started out of a desire to provide a better coffee experience for our area. In the “Thumb” of Michigan at the time, there wasn’t much diversity for things like coffee. The only place to get the top coffee in the world (that we now supply) was online or 90 miles away.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I would say educating our community as to how having something of such high quality can improve our daily life and our outlook on the world. Having one moment in the morning with the top 3% of coffee in the world that is so intentional and from 1/2 around the world is special.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Persevering when you learn a lesson the hard way.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Grow yourself alongside or before growing your business.
- Bet on yourself.
- Keep going, even when it’s hard.
