Tell us about yourself

I've worked with hundreds of small businesses on their growth strategies. I started RPP because most service-based businesses get a LOT of business through referrals, but they don't have a reliable way to get more of them on a consistent basis. I help businesses scale their referrals and love seeing how they can open up that channel for growth.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Launching a web-based application to automate referrals!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Prioritizing. Making sure you are relentlessly focusing on the activities that actually grow the business and not falling victim to shiny object syndrome.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start simple. Don't fuss over your logo or business license. Validate your business and then do the activities that get you revenue the fastest.
  2. Pick 1 product/service, pick one clear Ideal Client Profile, and market through 1 channel.
  3. Don't go it alone - find a support group of like-minded entrepreneurs, as it can get lonely starting and running a business on your own.
