What's your business, and who are your customers?

We help executives and entrepreneurs learn how to optimize their bodies and brain so they can achieve high performance in their business, in their bedroom, and in every area of their lives.

Tell us about yourself

I left a lucrative Urology practice so I could have a bigger impact. I launched the Gapin Institute for High-Performance Medicine to change the future of healthcare. What motivates me? To be the best husband, father, and leader and to share my high-performance health knowledge with others.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I spent over 20 years as a surgeon saving lives every day while neglecting my own health until it finally caught up with me. I woke up one day and found myself 30 pounds overweight with no energy, no focus, and no drive. I was determined to get healthy, but I found that our healthcare system isn't actually made for that. So I went back to school and studied the emerging field of health optimization and longevity.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Time, mindset, and health. But that's what we help people with. See, I believe the success you achieve in every area of your life starts and ends with your health. And that's why I created the Gapin Institute for High-Performance Medicine, to give people the tools and strategies you need to optimize every part of your human operating system. Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

I share the three critical drivers for High Performance.

  1. Get a high-performance mindset.
  2. Invest in your health.
  3. Take an individualized approach.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I realized how every aspect of our lives depends on our health, yet we don't have healthcare. We have disease care - crisis care... We passively wait until we're actually sick before we finally pay attention. Our entire approach to health supports neglect, so it's no surprise that we fall victim to it. When we have a growth mindset, we invite high performance.

When we have a systems approach to health, we promote high performance. And when we have a focus on data, we become high performance. We're all here striving for excellence, right? How do we have a bigger impact? How do we build more wealth? How do we achieve high performance? Well, I'm here to tell you how by investing in YOU and your health.
