What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is Unlimitter, a nootropic supplement company, and our customers are people who are looking to optimize their performance. Typically we see athletes, entrepreneurs, and students.

Tell us about yourself

All my life I've always been a competitor. Growing up, I played sports, and as an adult, I chose entrepreneurship, so I've always searched for anything that would give me a competitive edge. When I stumbled upon nootropics, I fell in love and wanted to share them with all of my friends, and I thought, what better way to do that than by creating one?

My first business was a social media marketing agency, and I was starting to get tired of client work, so I decided that it was time to start my own brand. Unlimitter was born.

I think there's a fire in every entrepreneur and competitor that makes them successful at what they do. For me, I wake up refusing to settle for average. I want to win at everything—sports, business, and life in general. When you are the ultimate competitor winning is what gets you up in the morning and what keeps you up at night.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is creating brands that captivate people. Very few products can create lifelong customers. But when you create a brand that makes thousands of people feel something, that feeling is incomparable. Whether it's through the product, the marketing, or the messaging, being able to move people in a way that not many other things can is an amazing feeling.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things about being a business owner is the loneliness and responsibility. When you have a job, you typically have a lot of other people who can relate to you, and you don't have any responsibilities. As an entrepreneur and business owner, you have to think about the well-being of all of your employees, everyone who relies on you, as well as yourself, and not many people can relate to that. A lot of people would rather take the easy route to avoid hardship.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Persist. One of the hardest parts of starting a business is the unexpected twists and turns that come with it. Often times starting a business isn't as easy (or as difficult) as everyone thinks. Most of the time, the people who succeed are just the ones who keep going while everyone else quits. At the end of the day, you don't lose if you don't quit.
  2. Build good habits. Most of the time, the reason people fail at starting a business isn't that they are just bad at business; it's because they lose motivation. You have to remember that motivation is temporary, it goes away. The way to avoid that is to build good habits every day. Being in the habit of working extra hours is more powerful than motivation. Being in the habit of waking up early and eating healthy is also powerful. If you build good habits, you'll be able to get further without over-exerting yourself.
  3. Learn as much as you can. When it comes to business, the name of the game isn't just hard work, it's about learning as much as you can as fast as you can. Learn sales, Facebook ads, TikTok ads, how businesses work, corporate structures, customer LTV, website optimization, funnels, logistics, and the list goes on and on. There is always more to learn, and the more you learn, the more you earn.
