What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help purpose-driven business owners get out of self-care overwhelm by creating a meaningful morning routine that helps them be holistically healthy and successful. I do this by helping them weave together the tools of Yoga, exercise, and empowering mindset, so they're lit up with magnetic energy and ready to show up as the Purposeful Powerhouses they truly are.

Tell us about yourself

The tools of Yoga and exercise have been the foundation of my life for many years, and I'm on a mission to share them with as many people as possible. I know in my heart they are powerfully transformative and healing and help people to navigate the different seasons of life as gracefully as possible. I'm especially passionate about sharing them with other entrepreneurs because, as a population, 49% of us are challenged by anxiety, depression, ADD, ADHD, or bipolar disorder. This makes Yoga and movement practices even more valuable since they're extremely helpful in managing these.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

In June 2022, I had the opportunity to share the virtual stage with Les Brown and Jack Canfield! After I gave my talk, the host called me an up-and-coming influential thought leader; it was INCREDIBLE to share my message with 1000s of people worldwide!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Because I'm so passionate about what I do, it can be hard to turn my work brain off. However, since it is so important for me to be in integrity with what I help my clients with, I have set clear boundaries around my schedule and stick to them.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You are the foundation of your business, so make sure to treat yourself that way and show up for yourself and your health daily by making self-care a top-priority activity.
  2. Be mindful of your self-talk and learn to speak kindly to yourself, as well as think on purpose to stay in alignment with your goals.
  3. Keep your big vision top of mind and make it a point to connect to its energy daily. Feel yourself in the experience so you can show up daily as that version of you. It's a powerful practice!
