Overcome Perfectionism and Lack of Confidence - We Culture

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Luciana Paulise, Founder of We culture, LLC., located in Miami Beach, FL, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I provide online coaching one-on-one to support employees to become their best selves, unleash their strengths, and help them overcome barriers when they need it the most.

Tell us about yourself

I worked for ten years in companies as an accountant, process improvement specialist, and leader. I realized that many obstacles in my career prevented me from being my best self, but I didn't know how to overcome them. Sometimes, family members, leaders, or partners are not the best sounding board.

That's why I started my career as a consultant, to help organizations change their culture to become more human-centered. Eventually, I realized culture couldn't be changed if individuals were not feeling safe, supported, and empowered. So I became a coach to provide a more individualized experience to employees and help them overcome their unique pain points.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

When I could find a niche where I was doing something that I loved doing, and my customers loved paying for.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

When you cannot get any customers, or when you can get too many, you don't get the right team to satisfy them. Both are hard, and I had to overcome them both.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

FOCUS, FOCUS, and MORE FOCUS. The best thing you can do for your business is look for one product or service that you (or your team) are great at and focus on. If you offer too many products at first, it will be hard to differentiate from the competitors.

Specialize in something that makes you unique, and that's how people will understand what you do and start recommending you. Keep improving based on your customer's input, and then be patient. The flow of the work will tell you what's your next step.
