Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in design services but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Matthew Anderson, Owner of Website Wizards, located in Saint Paul, MN, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Established in 2004, Website Wizards has been offering personal and small business website design and development services to customers with a wide variety of online business needs and goals.

Tell us about yourself

As the owner of Website Wizards, I started in the IT field in 1999 and have a wide range of skills beyond web development that small businesses have found helpful. I enjoy helping other small businesses utilize the web to reach new prospects and grow their business.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

The biggest accomplishment, I would say, is maintaining a perfect rating across the web for my services. To date, Website Wizards has a perfect 5-star rating on all platforms, from Google, Facebook, Yelp, and beyond.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest aspects of owning a web development business is being able to relate to small businesses of all types and know how best to represent their given field and markets.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Generally speaking, starting a small business will take a lot of time and little profit starting out. You should expect to work hard for a year or two with little profits to show; however, if you are good at what you do, you will start reaping the rewards of self-employment and profits.
