Tell us about yourself

"Dream until your dreams come true" Amazing food and warm hospitality have been my passion since graduating from SNHU in 2006. With over a decade of experience in catering, restaurants & hotels, I am excited to bring my unique approach to breakfast & lunch with my amazing team at White Birch Eatery.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I purchased what is now the White Birch Eatery on February 28th, 2020. We did an immediate nine-day renovation and had our Grand Opening on March 9th, 2020. To then on March 19th, be met by COVID-19 shutdown. We struggled through and continue to pivot to adapt to business demands.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things about being a business owner is valuing my personal time. You work so hard to make sure your company is successful and show a good face that you could forever find things to do and forget to leave time for things/Friends and family, not in the restaurant.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Work closely with your community's small business support.
  2. Social Media is followed, and some people "depend on it for specials and events," so update them often.
  3. Be open to suggestions and feedback. Make guests feel they are being heard.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?
