What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a health & wellness coach and motivational speaker who guides individuals & groups to take a proactive & preventative approach to vibrant living through healthy lifestyle choices.

Tell us about yourself

I was making significant changes in my life, and I really didn't want to "work for" someone else. I have been a legally blind, type 1 diabetic since the age of 2. I know what living with chronic health issues can be like. I want others to learn how to "live beyond their diagnosis and own their health."

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

That I actually AM a business owner! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this is what I would be doing someday!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Finding clients! As a Coach and Speaker, I want others to hear my message. Finding out where they are, takes a lot of work.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Know what you're getting into before you jump in.
  2. Know your WHY - keep it in front of you every day.
  3. Have a support team around you - when you get discouraged, you'll need them!
