What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am running a yoga studio, retreat center, or a yoga-focused business in the Westhampton area that attracts yogis from all over. My customer base consists of people who are interested in practicing yoga and are willing to travel to my location to do so. This may include individuals at different levels of experience and proficiency in yoga, as well as people with different goals and motivations for practicing yoga, such as stress relief, physical fitness, spirituality, and more.

Tell us about yourself

I began practicing yoga in the early 70s and quickly realized the incredible benefits it provided for both my mind and body. This experience sparked a deep calling within me to share the transformative method of yoga with others, which ultimately led me to pursue a career as a yoga instructor.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Staying open for 15 years in business, and still going.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Making it through a two-year pandemic.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
