What's your business, and who are your customers?
Aurora is a coaching business that supports you in going through deep transformation. Our process is based on the soul, so we see things differently. We support you in finding meaning and aligning your life to a new vision.
Tell us about yourself
Five years ago, I came to the sudden realization that life as I knew it was over. Everything was ending --my marriage, my business-- everything I had worked so hard to keep together was falling apart. I was thrown into a liminal period, a difficult process that lasted for years.
Through my journey, I've gained some valuable tools and resources, and my hope now is to share what I've learned with others who seek to live a meaningful life.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Creating Aurora. I love the vision and can see it growing over time.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I think you have to be willing to be alone, at least to a certain degree. You have to be fully invested in the process because it's your life we're talking about. It's not just business. It's about becoming a real person and doing what you have to do for yourself and the world.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Continually ask yourself: Why am I doing this? Who do I want to help? Am I enjoying life?" If the answer to the last question is "no" often enough, then something probably needs to change.
