What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are the only non-invasive, non-surgical, drug-free, guaranteed, immediate fat loss spa in the industry. Our clients are men and women of all ages, sizes, and professions who want to look better, feel more confident about their bodies, and live happier healthier lives.

Tell us about yourself

I absolutely love improving the quality of life for my clients and seeing them transform their bodies. There is nothing better than clients regaining their self-confidence and telling us they are getting compliments from friends and family on how slim they look!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Expanding into new locations in the greater LA area and now in Tampa, Florida, is something we are proud to have achieved, but we aren’t stopping there. We want to make our proprietary system available everywhere.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

I share this burden with the Founder of BodyContourz, but I think we can both say that you have to be able to assume full responsibility for your team, your clients, and every aspect of the business from marketing to hiring, HR, delivery, finance, and building management. Even in areas where you may not be the strongest, you cannot neglect them, and as an owner, I find my willingness to do anything I’m asking my staff to do has to be 100%. That’s not always easy and requires moving out of one’s comfort zone on a routine basis.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Being an entrepreneur is a wild ride; it is not done with a conservative attitude. Many MBAs will advise against your plans and try to get you to take a more conservative approach. So my first tip would be don’t listen to the status quo. As an entrepreneur, you are a risk-taker and an adventurer. So my second tip is that you must maintain an independent attitude toward existence and march forward confidently to the beat of your own drummer. Stay true to yourself and your own ideas. My third tip for others would be to find the business or plan or idea that you are passionate about and then go all-in and give it everything you’ve got.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Part of our expansion plans at BodyContourz is to cultivate partnerships with entrepreneurial women who want to have a share in and run their own BodyContourz centers. We will discover these women, bring them on board, train, and partner with them to open new centers across various markets. We have already begun to do this, and BodyContourz Tampa Bay is our first test case which is going well in its first six months of operation.
