What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a full-service hair salon for men and women committed to satisfying our client's hair desires! Our small boutique-style salon is a welcoming space, and we love to create classic and trendy styles with the perfect cut and color!

Tell us about yourself

I've been doing hair for over 25 years and love it! It's the only job I've ever had! My clients make every day exciting and different. I love helping people feel better about themselves!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I love that I've been able to help people feel better about themselves and feel better able to accomplish their goals. I'm proud of my staff and love helping them grow as stylists.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

It can be overwhelming all of the tasks of running a business. It's so much more than just standing behind the chair. I don't want to give up my time doing hair for all of the other business stuff that I need to do. So I can end up working every day, all day.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. It's so important to know your business inside and out.
  2. Keep learning all the new things you can and be the best at what you do.
  3. Surround yourself with inspiring people to keep you motivated and help give you a different perspective.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Be honest and sincere, and that will help build a great reputation.
