What's your business, and who are your customers?
As an alcohol-free life coach, I work with highly intuitive women who want to make alcohol a smaller part of their life and unleash their greater purpose.
Tell us about yourself
My business was catalyzed by my own personal transformation. I took a break from alcohol and fell in love with a new way of being. I had so much more energy, better sleep, motivation, and inspiration in my life. I got clarity on what I wanted and then had the audacity to go after it. In a very short time, I launched my business, left my day job, wrote a book, and built a life based on purpose and meaning. I don't just help my clients go alcohol-free. I help them build a vision that is so much bigger than a business. It's about being alive in your life!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Writing and publishing my book, Euphoric: Ditch Alcohol and Gain a Happier, More Confident You, with HarperCollins. It's always been my biggest dream to write a book, and now thousands of readers have used it to change their lives!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Because of constant growth, you are always stretching outside your comfort zone and embarking on new levels you haven't mastered yet. You're always learning, and it's also quite fulfilling!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
You have knowledge and expertise that the past version of you would die for. Businesses essentially help other people. There is so much value in experience and mentorship. If you feel like you have knowledge, experience, or overcame a challenge that could help someone else, get creative on how you could start and grow a business around that.
