What's your business, and who are your customers?

Dedeyan Enteprises Inc. is focused on inspiring and empowering people all around the world to become peak performers in business and all other aspects of life. We want to help people reach their full potential so that they can live the best possible life while also having the greatest potential positive impact on the world around them. We strive to achieve these goals through professional speaking, coaching, consulting, hosting educational programs, and creating valuable content.

Tell us about yourself

A few years ago, I was a successful real estate broker. One day, I was given the opportunity to speak at an event because I was a successful entrepreneur with dyslexia. I had to be vulnerable and honest about who I was because I knew that my story would help inspire other people with dyslexia to believe in themselves. That first speech I gave was in front of an audience of over one thousand people. Many of those people approached me after my speech to tell me how much of a profound impact I had on them. I knew at that moment that I needed to leave real estate brokerage to the side and focus my time and energy on speaking and coaching. I have a goal to have a positive impact on one billion people in my lifetime. I keep that in mind every day, as I strive to bring value to the people around me, my clients, and my community.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment isn’t necessarily one specific thing. It always means the world to me, whenever one of my clients tells me how much of a positive impact I’ve had on their lives.  People have made more money, achieved their business goals, lost weight, gotten healthier, left toxic partners, and many other things. When I’m at the end of my career and life, the greatest impact I will have had on the world is the way that I affected so many different people’s lives in a  positive way.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing about being an entrepreneur is the uncertainty of most things. There are so many things that are completely out of my control. There are many ups and downs, whether they’re financial or personal. Because of all these things, it’s absolutely crucial for us to always have faith in our vision and plans. If you stay focused on working towards your goals, you will eventually accomplish them.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Know the reason why your business exists and what your goals are for it. Be very clear on your mission and vision.
  2. Focus on adding value to people’s lives. The money will eventually come.
  3. Trust the process and remain consistent.
