Tell us about yourself
I've been programming all my life and also trading stocks. I wrote DDAmanda because I was looking for software to help me trade stocks, and there was nothing out there that had the features/tools that I wanted. It gives me great pleasure to program; it is my motivation. And also to provide features that help others to trade stocks effectively, in other words, to make money.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
DDAmanda used to be a desktop application. I'd say getting her online for everybody to use is my biggest accomplishment.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Fighting resistance. There is something in us that holds us back; overcoming that is the hardest thing.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- You have to be interested in whatever you do in order to make a success out of it.
- Listen to Universal Intelligence. Sit quietly and do nothing. Ideas and thoughts on a course of action will always come to you.
- Follow those thoughts and take action on them.
