What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a business coach. I am passionate about helping people to have successful businesses. My customer is a young woman with a business that is growing.
Tell us about yourself
I started as an entrepreneur, creating a personalized gift shop during the COVID-19 pandemic. Then, I sold it to move to the US, and I was able to sell it because we created systems that other people could follow without being dependent on me.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
In 2020, I launched a successful business as an entrepreneur in Spain during the pandemic. I started in the living room of my apartment. I leveraged the power of social media to grow the business. Later, I added a website for online sales. Eventually, I opened a physical location. When I relocated from Spain to the USA, I sold the business for a profit because of the value of the brand.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Sometimes the path of entrepreneurship can be quite lonely. You need to know that in those moments, what will keep you afloat is the discipline that you really have for your business because motivation can come and go.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Fall in love with your product or service so much that you can even feel bad if they don't have it because you know how much it can help people.
- Don't wait for the perfect circumstances—they don´t exist.
- Surround yourself with people who can help you gain clarity—a mentor, a coach, or a business partner.
