What's your business, and who are your customers?

I train high school, collegiate, and professional athletes in developing strength, power, speed, agility, and athletic enhancement. We also offer personal training for people that want to gain weight, lose weight, or just tone up and feel better.

Tell us about yourself

I initially got in the business to help young people who could not typically afford this type of service, and it eventually transitioned to offering services for higher functioning athletes such as collegiate and professional level athletes. I think what motivates me is just knowing that I am helping people realize their dreams in achieving some of their personal goals.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner was initially starting out over 15 years ago, training a couple of young people in a park to now having well over 100 clients on a regular basis.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is staying up with the most recent trends and trying to stay ahead of the curve so that you don’t lose clients.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

I would suggest the following tips - do something you enjoy, stay focused and purpose-driven, and lastly, have a purpose beyond just making money.
