Tell us about yourself

I'm the President/Co-Founder and one of the creative minds behind Soul Warrior Consulting, Inc., dba Soul Warrior Wellness Center (Danvers Wellness Center), a business dedicated to helping clients reach their personal health and wellness objectives. I'm a Certified Master Life Coach, Certified Shamanic Practitioner, Level 1 & 2 Attuned to Reiki, Certified Personal Trainer, and Certified in the Psychology of Nutrition. I've been helping people for over 15 years with my combined experience and education in Personal Training, Energy Work & Spiritual Life Coaching. I've always been a seeker and an adventurer, someone who knows there is more to us than what we can see. My focus is working on energy healing sessions through Shamanic Reiki and helping clients meet, work with & heal their relationship with their inner child, which is the most important relationship we have. What gets me up in the morning is my love of learning more about myself at the deepest and most intimate level, and it's what helps me connect with my clients.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is building a business that people in the community respect and need. It fulfills me to know that I am giving back.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Staying the course when the business landscape changes so much and staying true to who you are and your mission. Not getting sidetracked by all the naysayers and knowing that what you are doing is truly helping people change their lives.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do your homework; running a business is not just about your passion. It's about making sure you are looking at everything, technology, insurance, taxes, and everything that comes with owning a business. If you can't be profitable, then you won't be able to do what you love every day.
  2. Seek help, find mentors and those that may be willing to collaborate with you, and build a team of professionals that you can talk to when things are great and not so great.
  3. Continue to hone your skills and talents, have more education and be true to who you are, and never stray from that person. You have a gift; believe in yourself even when others don't.
