Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in jewelry but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Melissa Mor, Founder of Mrs. Push, located in Atlanta, GA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is Mrs.Push- an online push present destination. My customers are moms & moms to be looking to find a meaningful piece of jewelry to commemorate the birth of their baby.

Tell us about yourself

I struggled with finding the perfect push present for myself. I have three kids, and it became a running joke that I could never decide on what to get- so I never got any. My husband was too overwhelmed by the idea because I wanted something extra meaningful- with a birthstone, initial, etc. and there was nowhere I could send him that specialized in this.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Helping moms who struggle with finding the perfect push present. I love connecting with other moms who want to create an heirloom piece to be passed down to their kids.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Managing my time- mom life & work. There is no such thing as balance.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Build a community.
  2. Create an email list, don't rely just on social media.
  3. Brand your content so it is identifiably you.
