Tell us about yourself

I have been Studying and Practicing Breathwork since 1970; when working as an X-ray technician, I discovered the miraculous benefits of Breathwork in resuscitating someone who went into cardiac arrest. I worked in the Navy as a Deep Sea Diver and Medical Rescue Specialist. I have traveled to over 65 countries and trained more than 250,000 people. And my book, "Just Breathe," is an international best seller, now in 11 languages.

Do you have daily rituals for work / wellness / fitness / mindfulness? If yes can you please explain your rituals so we can include them as well?

My morning rituals include Meditation--Breath Watching--as soon as I wake up. That means tuning into the ease and flow and rhythm and quality of each breath. Then, I drink a glass of water while generating gratitude. That means thinking about who and what I love and what I plan to enjoy today. Then, I practiced some conscious breathing: Taking some deep rhythmic diaphragmatic breaths while doing some stretching. And some active, energizing breaths or balancing breaths. In the evening, I review my day, feeling grateful for any big or small wins. I look ahead, or remind myself of what I plan or what awaits me in the coming day. Then, I do some long, slow, relaxing, satisfying breaths to unwind from the day and slip into sweet slumber.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment was being recognized as the world's leading expert and authority in the field of Breathwork, bringing Breathwork training to Olympic Athletes, leading medical experts and celebrities like Tony Robbins, and publishing my book by Simon & Schuster.
