Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Levi Lascsak, Co-Founder and CEO of Passive Prospecting, located in Dallas, TX, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Our company is Passive Prospecting, and we help entrepreneurs and real estate professionals build passive prospecting YouTube channels that bring clients to you without spending money on ads. We detail this in our book, Passive Prospecting.

Tell us about yourself

My previous business shut down during the closures of 2020. I had to make a pivot, and real estate was growing at that time. I wanted to attract business instead of chasing it down or spending a ton of money on ads. I learned YouTube was a search engine, and I could start creating content that buyers and sellers were already searching for. By staying consistent, we were able to close our first deal around one hundred days of making videos. It compounded into making over $1M in commissions our first year as real estate agents. I am motivated every day by the process. I love working on my business every day and creating value through the content we produce.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Speaking on stage with Tony Robbins in front of 6,000 people. Also shared the stage with Ryan Serhant, who wrote the forward for our book and worked with many more well-known entrepreneurs. Also, staying true to my soul and always work towards serving others.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Building the right team. You cannot do everything yourself, and you have to find good people that share your vision and values and can get the job done while being empathetic to your business and clients. Once you have a great team, which is made up of great people, do everything you can to make sure they are capable and willing to do the job every 90 days.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Hyper-learn your subject. All of the information is out there. Buy books, watch youtube videos, buy courses, attend conferences, and study your subject for 60 days to build a solid business plan. Second, execute the plan and be mindful of every step of the way. Document every step of the way because if you become successful, you will have the ability to coach and train others on the same. Three, stay consistent. Content is king, but consistency is queen. It is the one trait that all successful people share.
