What's your business, and who are your customers?
Revamp Retreats is a transformational retreat collective -- running inspiring and life-changing retreats around the world with the best healers, teachers, and leaders. We also teach you how to lead your own retreats, build community and create impact. The people who come to us are those that are looking for something bigger -- more depth, freedom, abundance, community, and adventure.
Tell us about yourself
I went from corporate life to living in Bali, running a successful retreat company and community. Ten years ago, I went on my first retreat, and it was that 'aha' moment that shifted the rest of my life. I realized, like most, I was living by the standards of my parents, society, media, etc. After my first retreat, I realized I truly create my own reality and can design the life of my dreams. Years later, I started Revamp Retreats so I could support others on this same path. Each day I am motivated to make an impact on this world. It starts at home in my own life, with my family, and from there, it moves to my business and to building a community that will change the culture of the world.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Going all in from the start -- 15 retreats in year 1, six-figure profit, and TONS of impact on both the guests and communities around the world.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Entrepreneurship is a rollercoaster journey. One of the hardest things has been finding life balance as a new mama while also growing something I deeply care about.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Go all in -- go bigger than you imagine.
- Get a coach/support.
- Don't be afraid to fail, pivot, or change course -- it's all part of the journey.
