Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal and business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Kimberly Crossland, owner of Roadpreneur, located in Vail, AZ, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Roadpreneur helps RV-loving entrepreneurs design a life that lets them build a business from the backroads.

Tell us about yourself

I started out as a burnt-out freelancer, trading time for money. After realizing that model wouldn't work for the lifestyle I wanted to lead, I changed things up. Now, I'm teaching others how to do the same.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Witnessing my student's wins has been my biggest accomplishment. There's nothing better than seeing those outcomes for my customers.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

There's a constant juggle of tasks, and it's hard to turn off the entrepreneurial brain. Sometimes that's a blessing, but other times it can feel like a curse.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Just get started. Don't wait. Don't let it be perfect. Launch and the lessons will come.
  2. Talk to people. Use empathy to grow.
  3. Rejection is just the beginning. You will be told no, and that's okay. Take the nos, learn from them, and evolve.
