What's your business, and who are your customers?
Naturopathic clinic. My customers are of all ages, all genders, and all conditions. We work with mind, body, and emotions to help achieve WHOLE wellness. They all play an integral role in living a healthy and vital life.
Tell us about yourself
My first inkling that this was my path was as a child. My aunt trained me in herbology and wildcrafting in the Utah mountains. I learned which herbs supported which health challenge, how to use them properly, and in what form (root, flower, leaf). Her father, my grandfather, was also a Naturopath, but he died before I was born and shared his wisdom with his daughter, who had great interest. Growing up, I saw the contrast between the pharmaceutical approach and what I was learning about the natural approach. My mother was much more allopathic and, to a great degree, forced me to also experience that suppressive, counter-intuitive approach to feeling better. Many of the things that were done for me in that paradigm caused long-lasting effects. I believe that system killed my mother.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I've been doing my work at Synergetics Health & Wellness for 40 plus years. I have continued to gain knowledge and practical applications for the wellness of my clientele. I have perfected a method of communication with the body that enables me to determine where the imbalances are and which systems are out of alignment. It also allows me to know what the healing priorities are for the body, mind, or emotions so we can follow the wisdom of the body in formulating a protocol for healing for the WHOLE individual. I have recently added an extremely powerful process to my services offered called Superconscious Transformation, also known as Recoding. It is a simple but amazing experience that allows people to aim for a new life and bring about mind-blowing outcomes. It removes the roadblocks to achieving pretty much whatever you want in life. It is as simple as having a clear end result in mind, listening to a specific script, and removing whatever impediments to reaching that goal exist in the current reality. By creating a desired reality and the right structure to work from, the most incredible personal outcomes have occurred in any chosen area of life. This can be done by phone or other platforms such as zoom.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Being responsible for all the day-to-day functions, the things that go on behind the scenes, in addition to working to help clients achieve their wellness goals.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have a very clear vision of what you wish to create for your business in terms of the goals you wish to accomplish. The clearer your intent is, the better your outcome will be.
- Be certain you have the tools/techniques or talents needed for the business you wish to grow or begin. In other words, your personal understanding should match what you wish your business to reflect.
- Do your best to offer something unique to the industry you work within, something that will help potential customers choose you over another business in that industry.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I also offer a consultation service for a website called Diagnose-me.com. It is an online portal where you can fill out a questionnaire, choose your preferred doctor to review your questionnaire, and provide you with a very detailed, interactive report based on that questionnaire with suggestions and guidance to help you begin to feel better. We can then do follow-ups by phone or zoom-type platforms for future consultation.
