What's your business, and who are your customers?

The Daily Pilates is a beautiful wellness studio offering a variety of science-based Pilates classes for a unique, customizable fitness plan. You’ll find everything from contemporary group Reformer classes, and HIIT, to sound bath restorative options - there’s an option for any client.

Tell us about yourself

My background has also been in fitness, and I saw a need for uniting wellness in design in Atlanta. I wanted to create a space that customers looked forward to going to and that motivated them to work out. The smiles, the reaction, and the kindness we’ve seen from these creations motivate me every day!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

When I opened The Daily Pilates, we became the best Pilates studio in Atlanta; our first year with no paid marketing and no street signage, it was all based on word-of-mouth abs referrals. Since then, I have been incredibly proud to turn this brand into a franchise, with our first studio opening last month!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

It’s always a challenge not being able to please everyone; with experience, I’ve learned it’s best to focus on how to best handle situations rather than try to appeal to every individual.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Research and ask for mentoring advice, double-check everything, and take care of yourself.
