Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Vesna Pavlica, Founder of VELNNES, located in Slovenska Bistrica, Slovenia, Europe.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I support people (mostly women) on their path to regaining their health by taking a deep dive look into the body's energy control system (aka the human body field) to get the complete picture of health. When you look at things energetically – when you watch how energy behaves in your body – you can pinpoint and uncover the exact root causes behind the physical symptoms. Blood tests tell us how well our organs are working or if there are infections. But a bioenergetic test goes deeper – revealing exactly where energy is distorted or blocked in the body. When we uncover the energetic blockages, we uncover the things stopping our body from doing what it is designed to do – heal itself.

I also have a course for women who want to know more about holistic approaches to boost their fertility and prepare for pregnancy. My third passion is helping and supporting animals (pets) on their recovery journey (with energy healing modalities). My customers are people looking to improve their health and vitality, women who want to get pregnant, and people with pets who think of them as family members and want to help them heal (after injuries or illness).

Tell us about yourself

I was born in spring, so my mother named me after the Slovanian Goddess of Spring called, Vesna. Maybe that is the reason that my interest in nature and biology took most of my time in my childhood, and it continued till the present. I studied microbiology and worked as a medical representative until one day (after my burnout and a loss of a family member), I realized that I was not following my true calling. The scariest thing was to admit to myself that I was not happy and the realization that it was up to me to change things. So, I quit my job and started my journey to regain my health and then help others to do the same.

NES Health was a big part of my journey. I was so amazed at what one simple scan could show me about myself (and my subconscious), and I instantly knew that this was what I wanted to do to help others regain their health and well-being. I am constantly exploring and searching for answers with a never-ending drive to reach beyond the known. In my work, I'm combining my personal experiences together with the knowledge gained through different pieces of training and constant research. This approach allows me to be able to assist my clients in accessing their own inner wisdom in faster and more efficient ways.

I mostly work with international clients from all around the world, and I also run a small practice here in Slovenia.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishments are my client's success stories. Many of them now live a happy, healthy lifestyle with no symptoms. Most recently, a woman who had five miscarriages is now 20 weeks pregnant. My heart sings when a person is finally pain/symptom-free because we addressed the root causes.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The start is always the hardest. Now knowing how things will work out. But as you proceed, things somehow fall into place. For me, the days are too short for everything that I want to do. As a small business owner, I'm always multitasking. I'm doing everything by myself, from building webpages and funnels to marketing and coaching my clients.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Listen to your heart. If you want to do something - go for it.
  2. Don't give up. Make a plan and stick to it.
  3. Take time to rest and do something fun. It is easy to get overwhelmed when starting a business, which can lead to burnout. I see this a lot with my clients. By going through burnout myself, I can tell you that the road to recovery can be long. My advice is to listen to your body and give it proper rest when necessary.
