Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Wendy Vigroux, Founder of Westchester Yoga, located in New Rochelle, NY, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a specialized and registered yoga teacher training school. All we do is train people to become yoga teachers.

Tell us about yourself

Yoga helped me so much that I got certified it was very expensive. So I created a financially and schedule-friendly training to make it more accessible for people to do what they love.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Seeing my graduates teaching yoga across the country, making a difference one yoga class at a time.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Having a small team and having to be a jack-of-all-trades

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start slow, start small - you will gain knowledge and be able to grow from there.
  2. Find an advisor, a mentor to speak to - the path is not always easy.
  3. Keep your day job until you don't need it.
