Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and beauty but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Krysta Francoeur, founder of Wild Remedies, located in Kelowna, BC, Canada.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Wild Remedies. Our target demographic is the health-conscious, 25-50-year-old woman/man who adores the opportunity to connect with mother nature and themselves. They're rational but know that not everything can be explained with words but rather that life is a series of divine synchronicities. They're all about healthy smoothies, adaptogens, boho aesthetic, and investing in beautifully curated homes/kid's clothes/pet accessories. They drink botanical lattes and do yoga in their beautiful gardens full of homegrown herbs.

Our passionate team of nature and nutrition lovers, free-spirits, and game-changers came together to develop and circulate products that we are really proud of. Products that help people become better, healthier versions of themselves, conserve wild places, slow climate change, and most importantly, honour our deep connection to our home on planet earth.

Our newest product collection, Magick Lattes™, is a direct reflection of our shared values. The healing potions in our new line are made specifically for anyone who's looking for a delicious way to incorporate therapeutic-grade botanicals, super 'shrooms, nutriceuticals, and some Magick, into their lives.

Tell us about yourself

Krysta worked as a designer and brand-builder for 14 years. In 2014, she moved to Malaysia to work for the famous transformational education company Mindvalley and has since supported some of the biggest names in personal development, such as T. Harv Eker, Deepak Chopra, The Shift Network, the authors of Stealing Fire, and more – all well building her own health food company, Wild Remedies.

After spending a large part of her life battling chronic illness, inflammation, and self-sabotaging behaviours, she incorporated the conscious use of mindfulness, intuition, and introspection to help uncover the answers that were always within herself. Harnessing these energies, although difficult, has guided her through an amazing journey of thousands of hours of research, spiritual, and self-exploration that has reconnected her with her creative and magical nature.

Seeing an opportunity in the market for better-for-you functional beverages, Krysta was inspired to use her years of creative expertise & knowledge in wellness to create a product line that uses the medicine of botanicals (natural healing), the beauty of art and design (packaging), and the creativity of cooking (flavour), to create a product line that's forging a new path in the wellness space by merging supplement with a beverage.
