What's your business, and who are your customers?

I have been a shamanic practitioner and a full mesa carrier connected to the wisdom of the high holy mountains in Peru since 2010. Humanity is going through a shift in consciousness right now. My role is to bring the shamanic initiation rites of the Munay-Ki out into the world. We all have a part to play in turning the world right-side up. As we heal ourselves, we heal the world! The rites are open to all healing modalities.

Tell us about yourself

The Peruvian Shamans found me. I was working as a recruiter for a local university. I was on an appointment and was introduced to someone who told me she was studying to be a shaman. We sat in her office, and she told me about her work. I resonated with her words with tears of joy. I knew that I was getting closer to stepping into my role of being of service.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Shamanic training is challenging at times because we deal with the shadow parts of ourselves that need to be healed. My biggest accomplishment is that I stayed the course and did not walk away when the lessons became tough.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

For me, the hardest part is maintaining a balance between being of service and the financial aspects of doing business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Always come from your heart and always come from a place of integrity. Treat all the way you would Ike to be treated.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Always be grateful for everything that comes your way. Everyone and every situation is a teacher.
