What's your business, and who are your customers?
My clients are professional artists, singers, and performers who wish to maximize their artistic impact. I teach them how to live, create, and perform with power, intention, and joy in a state of flow. A state of flow is a state of your consciousness in which everything you do or create happens easily and effortlessly. Everyone has experienced a flow state at one time or another, but for most people, this incredibly potent state occurs only by chance. Most people don't know how to recreate it. I teach my clients how to raise their consciousness level so they can enter the state of performing flow anytime and create magic for their audience.
Tell us about yourself
I've been a singer my entire life and have always struggled with performance anxiety. I used to think that the better singer I would become, the easier it would be for me to perform. Well, the opposite was true. The higher I got in my singing career, the more pressure, anxiety, and negative self-talk I would experience. After each performance, I was disappointed in myself. I wanted to quit so many times, but I also knew there must be a way to figure this out. My lifelong frustration set me on a profoundly spiritual and deeply self-discovering path on which I found the way to my performing flow. I turned my performance anxiety into the thrill of performing while enjoying every second on the stage. Once I cracked this "flow code," my life mission was born. I knew I had to teach performing flow to other singers and artists who also wish to perform at the highest level and create magic for their audiences. I believe that being an artist and performer is a spiritual calling to bring beauty to this world and uplift our human experience on our planet. And that is what inspires me and keeps me going.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My greatest accomplishments are witnessing my gorgeous clients going through a mind-blowing transformation, stepping into their power, shedding old ways of thinking and feeling, and performing with ease and joy. It's deeply fulfilling to see the difference my coaching is making in the lives of my clients.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hardest thing is to find a balance between my personal, family, and business life. Self-care is super important when you are a business owner because it is easy to overdo everything.
Creating an impactful and fulfilling business doesn't have to be a struggle. It just needs to be an extension of who you are, of your way of being. So the more you love, nurture, and cherish yourselves, the easier the creation of your business becomes. I strive to create my business playfully and with ease. That's how I get the best ideas. But it does require me to take a break when I get tired, connect to my intuition and follow its guidance which is often very different from the guidance of my "rational mind." Trusting my inner truth is the key.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Find out what truly fills your heart and why you are doing what you are doing. You will know when you find it, and then, only then, you'll become unstoppable.
- Lead your business from your heart and your intuition. Your vision needs to be bigger than any of your fears or obstacles.
- Don't try to do it all alone. Allow yourself to receive support. Get a business coach, join a mastermind, or consider delegating a few tasks. Just keep learning and growing, and get a business/marketing education.
