What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are an esthetics studio specializing in permanent eyebrows and lips. Lash extensions and professional skincare treatments.
Tell us about yourself
I’ve been an esthetician for almost 20 years. I decided to open up my own studio when I got into micro blading because I absolutely fell in love with it. What motivates me every day is giving women the confidence to feel the most beautiful in their own skin. I love creating results for all my clients that will last a lifetime. The friendships I have built along the way have become priceless.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I’d say my biggest accomplishment is that I have never quit. Even when times get hard, and I sometimes want to throw in the towel, I just keep going. I believe once you find a passion for serving others, the rest will naturally come to you.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Definitely making decisions. When it comes to making them, no one is there to tell you which one will be the right one. Trust me, I have made some bad business decisions, but you learn as you go. You know what works and what doesn’t.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Make sure you love what you do. Don’t do something just because you think it will make you a lot of money.
- Know that you will make mistakes. Making mistakes is what molds you and your business for years to come.
- Surround yourself with only supportive people who are rooting for you. Trust me; there will be a lot of people who will want to doubt you. Remember, this is your life and your dream.
