Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Aymee Coget, Founder of Happiness for Humankind, located in San Francisco, CA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I started Happiness for HumanKind to help people who are looking to feel better now and learn how to be happy. Our customers can be anyone from children, teenagers, and adults to seniors who are ready to become happier and leave stress, depression, anxiety, and ADD/ADHD. Beyond individuals, we also work with dyads, groups, corporations, the tech sector, and the media consulting on increasing well-being using positive psychology.

Tell us about yourself

I was lucky to know my purpose at age 19 when I realized I wanted to help millions of people live happier lives. What motivates me is the large amount of suicide, depression, stress, and general unhappiness in the world.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is inventing a well-being system that is repeatable, systematic, and, most importantly, effective enough to save and change lives!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things of being an entrepreneur is knowing things can always improve...

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

I would recommend people who are looking to start, run and grow a business ask themselves:

  1. What is the change I want to see in the world?
  2. What am I passionate about?
  3. What comes naturally to me?

With those three tips, this can lead to a vision, a strategy, and a flow which can create an endless sense of energy to achieve the seemingly unachievable in business, running a business that gives you a financial reward in addition to feeling meaning and purpose while making a positive impact.

Where can people find you and your business?
