Tell us about yourself

As a former Chief Financial Officer, I understand the commitment and dedication that top-level executives have for their companies. Even with my passion for my job, I realized that something was missing - flexibility. Hard Working Mom has provided me with a platform to use my creativity to make an impact while still having the flexibility to take care of my family. My journey has been one of passion, dedication, and creativity. I am proud to have created a business that allows me to reach my goals while still having time for my family and loved ones. With Hard Working Mom, I'm able to fulfill both my professional ambitions and my personal commitments.

I am passionate about inspiring and helping others through Hard Working Mom. I believe that with the right tools, anyone can achieve their goals and have a fulfilling life without sacrificing their personal commitments. Hard Working Mom is my way of sharing knowledge and experiences to help others reach their full potential. I'm excited about what this journey has in store for me and for those who join me on it!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

With dedication and hard work, I was able to take Hard Working Mom from a home-based venture to a full-fledged business. Through careful planning, I managed to acquire a 7000 sq feet warehouse and employ other mothers who shared my vision for offering working moms the flexibility they need in order to balance their professional lives with their personal responsibilities. The success of Hard Working Mom has been incredibly fulfilling, and I am proud to have created a business that helps empower moms everywhere.

I am passionate about using my platform to help other hardworking moms start their own businesses, as well. By providing mentorship and resources tailored specifically for female entrepreneurs, I hope to continue making a positive difference in the lives of mothers who are driven to make their dreams a reality. I believe that everyone should have the chance to pursue their passions and create something meaningful. Although sometimes hard work is necessary, when you find the career you love, it can be one of the most rewarding experiences imaginable.

By growing Hard Working Mom from my own home office to a 7000-square-foot warehouse, I am now able to provide employment and flexibility for other mothers. It is my goal to continue to foster a supportive environment where hardworking moms can thrive and reach their goals. Through the continued mentorship that Hard Working Mom provides, I hope to help more female entrepreneurs succeed in achieving their dreams.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The challenges of being a solo business owner can, at times, be overwhelming. Working alone means that you are solely responsible for all aspects of the business, from marketing and sales to customer service and operations. As such, it can become difficult to stay motivated and on top of your workload. It also forces you to rely heavily on yourself in order to learn new skills such as SEO and social media tactics. Without the support of a team, it can be hard to stay focused on your goals and make progress toward them. Although being alone may cause some issues, it also gives you the freedom to take ownership of your business and create something that is entirely yours. If you are willing to commit yourself fully, running your own business can be an incredibly rewarding experience. By taking the time to stay organized and plan out what you are going to do each day, it is possible to manage both your workload and your stress levels.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Starting a business can be daunting, but the feeling of accomplishment when you have succeeded is worth it. It's important to remember that fear should not hold you back from taking the leap – with enough research and preparation, there is no reason why your venture cannot succeed!

Additionally, don't forget to reach out to other business owners for advice – there is a wealth of knowledge to be shared in the local business community, and attending free events can help you build your network.

Finally, it is possible to make a living out of running your own business, but it's important to remember that challenges will arise. Social media and website management can be especially tricky, so be sure to go in prepared and have realistic expectations. With the right mindset, you can set yourself up for success! Do not let fear dictate your life – take the plunge, do it scared, and make your dreams a reality.
