What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a Life Coach to Graduates, Executives, Business Owners, and budding Entrepreneurs. I work with clients 1-1 and offer Group Coaching to businesses. My coaching explores what holds you back, the creation and embodiment of new perspectives, and defining and aligning with your values.
Tell us about yourself
If I think back to when I was a child, I was fascinated by other people's stories and experiences. Simply put, Life Coaching is about asking good questions at the right time and having a large capacity for listening. I'm inspired daily by what's possible for my clients when a safe space is created where they feel seen and called to action.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Firstly, switching careers and, secondly, launching a successful business at the start of a pandemic while balancing remote work and schooling. What a ride!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
There's a good deal of uncertainty that comes with being a business owner. Uncertainty can allow self-doubt to creep in and grow, which is why it is crucial to have a support network to connect and open up to.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- GO FOR IT. If this is something you really want, then get started, even if it's a small step! Don't wait to feel ready or have everything lined up perfectly.
- Surround yourself with the support you need. Being an entrepreneur does not mean you are alone. Know who will keep you accountable, give you a much-needed reality check and offer guidance when things get tough.
- Be aware of and develop tools and techniques to manage Imposter Syndrome. This part of you may have a lot to say about starting a business!
