Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in leadership development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Jacob Engel, CEO of  Yeda LLC & The Prosperous Leader, located in Tallman, NY, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help leaders scale up their business by analyzing the 4 pillars (P's) of their foundation. People-Process-Products (services)-Profits. Creating a strategic plan for high growth. Implementing the plan to success.

Tell us about yourself

My background is running a large family business that experienced high growth. After (semi) retiring, I found my passion in helping entrepreneurs scale up and, specifically, family businesses, create the next generation of leaders.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

In the family business, we grew the business many times over and created significant value for the family. In helping others do the same, many have seen exponential growth...

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

People issues are significant, and it's very lonely on the top.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Know your Why (Simon Sinek). What impact do you want to have?
  2. Hire people that are smarter than you are (then, in fact, you're smarter than them).
  3. Work smarter, not harder!

Where can people find you and your business?
