What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a psychotherapist: a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and OptiMInd Neuroscience Coach, and considered a genius agent of self-awareness and master self-love mentor. I help those struggling with issues related to life transitions (new relationship, career transition, new parent, divorce, retirement, empty nest, health diagnosis, loss of loved one, etc.), anxiety, depression, alcohol addiction, intuitive development, low self-trust, and end of life. I also work with people who have been injured in car accidents suffering from PTSD. I have nearly two decades of experience working specifically with persons dealing with emotional eating issues as well as those considering and recovering from bariatric surgery. I was recognized by Philadelphia Magazine as a Top Doc for Women in eating disorders and had two columns, "Food and Feelings Making the Connection" and "Soulful Living," in WLS Lifestyle Magazine and have authored several articles on the subjects of compulsive eating, self-love, and respect, and the power of trusting one's inner wisdom. My work is grounded in my belief that Love is the true essence of each and every person and that when you learn to love and accept yourself unconditionally, life becomes magical!

Tell us about yourself

It is my passion to inspire people to fall in LOVE with themselves. I believe this is my soul's purpose. All suffering, addiction, anger, stress, and sadness CAN be soothed and most often banished by LOVE! Whether you enroll in one of my virtual groups, attend a workshop, or work with me one-on-one, I'll guide you in developing the awareness necessary to create new habits of thinking and behaving that will support you in living Your Highest Good, Your Happiest, Healthiest Life One that is firmly grounded in the energy of SELF-LOVE and compassion. You'll learn what it means to be authentic in your interactions, the power of living in this now moment, and the absolute freedom and confidence born of trusting your inner wisdom.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Watching people go deep in exploring and connecting with their authentic selves and witnessing them living "new lives" that are truly reflective of self-love and respect.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

For me, it's finding the right support people to help me do all the things I'm not great at paperwork, billing, marketing, keeping up with social media posts, etc.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. If you feel that tugging in your heart to start a business, trust your instincts, set an intention, and start.
  2. Surround yourself with people who inspire you, who are happy to mentor/educate you when need be, and who truly celebrate and want the best for you as well, as listen to podcasts, ted talks, etc., of people you admire, respect, and find inspiring.
  3. Keep believing in yourself, trust your inner guidance, and be open to new ideas and ways of growing your business.
