Tell us about yourself

I'm a clinical psychotherapist, and I had the desire to revolutionize how therapeutic services are provided. I create my own curricula based on proven research. I'm motivated by the need to normalize mental health and make it accessible to everyone.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is that I've helped thousands of people improve their lives. I'm also very proud of the books I've written.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is creating a work/life balance. There's always something to do, so you have to create time to decompress.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start with a well-rounded business plan.
  2. Develop a strong work ethic, and be prepared to go nonstop for a few years.
  3. Keep it fresh. Don't get stagnant or set in your ways. Be open to new concepts or ideas.
